Cute little bakery and definitely worth the hype. If you've got a sweet tooth you'll find these pastries hit the spot.
Cinnamon scroll was divine and easily one of the best I've ever had. The Banoffee croissant whilst probably just that bit too sweet for me was really gorgeous and packed with fillings.
The only thing I wasn't so keen on was probably the Parisian Hot Chocolate. The chocolate itself was slightly too sour for my tastes. I've had this hot chocolate elsewhere and found that I prefer a true milk chocolate flavour. The one from Calle possibly has a higher cocoa %?
Get here early because after 11am the lines get a little wild.
The only seating here is outdoors so avoid on cold wet days unless you're suitable rugged up.

We finally got to try the trendy croissant hot chocolate, honestly it’s an experience. I was fascinated on how they did the croissant cup as the hot choco is not leaking on it. I must say its good plus we got to the berry twist and this is my fav.

Very busy for a reason! I tried the pastrami and Swiss, the chocolate croissant wheel and the cinnamon scroll. I also tried the earl grey match which was delicious. I'm not mad for matcha but this treat was something special. The line grows quickly and you may need to go into another line to collect your order. The seats were packed so I took my food to the park close by.

Omggggg I love this bread!!!!! The mango 🥭 is fresh and the bread is crispy 🤤
Don’t worry about the wait time, you might just have to wait 3mins to get the food. They have tables outside if you prefer to eat there as well.
Definitely the best bread I have eaten in Melbourne.

Calle Bakery never disappoints! 🤩
A tiny trendy bakery in Carlton North that pulls a big punch. Love the buzzy ambience.
Be mesmerized by freshly baked sweet and savory range of artisan recreations with inspirational European influences but with a Melbourne twist by a passionate pastry chef.
At this quaint cafe located in picturesque Rathdowne Village, my aspiration for one of the best designer croissants in Melbourne was more than satisfied.
Worth every sweet bite, I was delightfully captivated by its 4 top sellers:
1. The unique custard-filled Matcha Earl Gray croissant wheel ( one of the Oct special editions)
2. The delectable cinnamon scroll 🥐
3. The super duper Cookie chocolate 🥐
4. The irresistible Dubai pistachio 🥐
Highly recommended for your distinguished taste buds 👍

What a treat visiting Calle Bakery in Carlton North 🎉 From the moment I walked in, the delicious aroma of freshly baked sourdough, croissants and pastries welcomed me right away.
Their top picks:
• The incredibly inventive croissant wheels with rotating flavour combos like yuzu, pistachio and chocolate. (Personal favourite is cookie croissant)
• Classic artisan sourdough loaves and baguettes made on‐site.
• Rich specialty coffees that pair perfectly with the pastries in their cosy outdoor seating area.
What makes Calle Bakery truly stand out is their dedication to craft, everything is baked fresh daily, and they’re always coming up with new creative flavours that keep you excited to return. Highly recommend for anyone who loves premium baked goods in a friendly, relaxed setting 🥐☕

Calle Bakery had been on my favourites list ever since I saw their viral hot chocolate wheel. When I finally visited in November, the hot chocolate was off the menu, but I tried their chocolate-filled wheel instead — and it was absolutely delicious. I also had the blueberry danish, which was stunning and bursting with flavour.
The pastries were the perfect mix of soft and crunchy, the kind that genuinely make you drool. The coffee was excellent too and paired beautifully with everything we ordered.
Overall, I’d happily give this place a 10/10 — perfect food, on-time service, and a really great experience.

Fantastic Bakery. Plenty of options to suit everyone's needs. The food and drinks taste amazing, the portion sizes will satisfy you and the price is fairly reasonable. There's plenty of seating around, sometimes you might have to wait for 5-10mins, maybe more but it's worth it.
A very nice and comforting service, topped with a nice and pleasant atmosphere (Great area for a nice walk after a meal also).
If it's your first time or you plan to try and eat a few things, please save your appetite for it because you will definitely enjoy it. If you're a fan of burgers, sandwiches and sweets or even just a coffee with maybe a side sweet, I highly recommended this place.
Enjoy & Your welcome. 🙏😊

Went to the pop up store last week for the limited edition Le Cafe Latte pastry and also ordered the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio croissant. The Le Cafe Latte was very tasty and was not too sweet; it has a number of layers which included whipped vanilla cream dusted with cocoa powder, coffee cream, salted caramel, coffee custard and roasted hazelnut pieces which worked well together. As for the Dubai Pistachio pastry, it was definitely on the sweeter side with the generous amount of pistachio spread and the thick chocolate top but was nonetheless tasty with a cup of coffee. Also enjoyed the texture from the flaky croissant layers and the crunchy kadaifi.

Finally got a chance to visit after saving this place for so long~~ and I’m happy to say that the food is amazing !!✨ went for breakfast at 9 today, not too crowded, the short queue was also moving fast. It is quite a bit of waiting for the food to be served but generally less than 10 minutes, so it’s totally fine~~ I ordered a berry twist and ask for another best seller, and picked cinnamon roll out of the 3 suggested.
Berry twist is good, crispy and not too sweet, definitely love the flavour and texture.
Cinnamon roll, what would I say… probably the best one yet! Both texture and taste totally hits me!
Drinks wise.. ordered an earl grey iced hojicha (which is not in the menu; supposed to be matcha instead ) As I’m not a fan of matcha, they changed it to hojicha for me as requested, which is very nice of them 🥰🥰 However, the taste of earl grey wasn’t very strong in the drink, which they then gave me extra early grey syrup later on. 👍🏼👍🏼
For its environment.. they have quite some outdoor sittings, which I absolutely love because I don’t have to think of where can I go to eat after buying them 🤣
Overall, it’s a nice place to visit and definitely a good breakfast spot! Can’t wait for the next visit to try their Dubai chocolate pistachio croissant!
